The working principle of the bag filter

The working principle of the bag filter

1. Feed: The fluid enters the shell of the bag filter through the inlet pipeline.

2. Filtration: When the fluid passes through the filter bag, impurities, particles, and other substances are filtered out by the pores on the filter bag, thereby achieving the purpose of purifying the fluid. The filter bags of bag filters are usually made of materials such as polyester, polypropylene, nylon, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc. Different materials of filter bags have different filtration accuracy and corrosion resistance.

3. Discharge: The fluid filtered by the filter bag flows out from the outlet pipeline of the bag filter, achieving the purpose of purification.

4. Cleaning: When impurities, particles, and other substances accumulate to a certain extent on the filter bag, it is necessary to clean or replace the filter bag. Bag filters usually use methods such as back blowing, water washing, and mechanical cleaning to clean the filter bags.
