Working principle
Mechanical filters use one or several filtering media to pass the original solution through the medium under a certain pressure, removing impurities, and thus achieving the purpose of filtration. The fillers inside are generally: quartz sand, anthracite, granular porous ceramics, manganese sand, etc. Users can choose to use according to the actual situation.
Mechanical filters mainly use fillers to reduce water turbidity, intercept suspended solids, organic matter, colloidal particles, microorganisms, chlorine odors, and some heavy metal ions in the removal zone water, and purify water supply. This is one of the traditional methods of water treatment.
Performance characteristics

2. After backwashing, the filter material can be used multiple times and has a long service life.
3. Good filtration effect and small footprint.

The size of the mechanical filter depends on the water volume, and the materials include fiberglass or carbon steel. In addition, the selection of single layer filter material, double layer filter material, or multi-layer filter material should also be based on the water quality of the feed water and the requirements of the effluent water quality.
